Terms for Contributors

From individuals, the fund is raised in two ways.

• As a loan — repayable to you at any time, subject to the fund having enough in it.
• As a donation — not repayable, and cannot be withdrawn.

1. You may withdraw money you lent at any time, subject to the fund having enough. If you withdraw it inside a year you will not be counted as a contributor, and the contribution will not be acknowledged anywhere.
2. Because a contributor’s money is lent onward and can be withdrawn again, the directors do not knowingly accept zakat.
3. Since this money is spent on people’s welfare, the directors do not knowingly accept money of unlawful origin, and ask that it not be offered.
4. If your donation — not loan — exceeds ৳50,000 you may list your own company’s name instead of your own. This can be changed once.
5. All accounts are kept on this website. Beyond that, if your donation exceeds ৳10,000 you have the right to inspect or audit every item of income and expenditure.
6. Every donor, whatever the amount, receives a receipt and a donation certificate, which may be filed with a tax return to claim a rebate.

These terms may be changed, extended or withdrawn by decision of the committee or the founder, as the running of Dan Noy-Dhar requires.
